CRYSTALIC: More Footage From The Studio Available
February 14, 2009Finnish melodic death metallers CRYSTALIC entered D-Studio in Klaukkala, Finland on December 19, 2008 to begin recording the drums for their second full-length album. The rest of the instruments and vocals are being recorded at Deaf Ear Music in Tampere, Finland with Matti Auerkallio at the helm.
Video footage of the rhythm guitar-recording sessions at Deaf Ear Studio can be viewed below.
The band previously stated about the new tracks: "There's definitely some surprises coming your way with the new material. For example, the fastest CRYSTALIC song to date (with some blastbeats!) and also the slowest one."
CRYSTALIC parted ways with vocalist Jarno F. Moberg this past spring and replaced him with Matti Auerkallio (ex-FARMAKON, FOXY FLAMMABLE, AVENIE, DUALITY).
CRYSTALIC released its debut album, "Watch Us Deteriorate", last year via Thundering Records. Check out audio samples at this location.
Former CRYSTALIC frontman Jarno F. Moberg makes a guest appearance on latest CD from Finnish metalheads MACHINE MEN, available now on Century Media. Jarno is featured on the album's title cut, "Circus of Fools".
